ACCOMMODATION BOOKING CONDITIONS AND CANCELLATION POLICY
All bookings are made subject to guests acceptance of our conditions below.

COTTAGE ARRIVAL is anytime after 4pm. DEPARTURE is strictly by 11am.
BED & BREAKFAST ARRIVAL is anytime after 3pm. DEPARTURE is strictly by 10am.
Tentative Bookings can be held for ONE WEEK (7 days), after which a 50% DEPOSIT is required to confirm your reservation. A deposit or payment in full may be required at the time a booking is made for short notice bookings.
A Minimum of ONE WEEK applies to CHRISTMAS/JANUARY School Holidays. Payment in Full is required 30 DAYS prior to arrival.
Gift Vouchers are non-refundable, nor redeemable for cash. If booking is cancelled within cancellation period then the Gift Voucher will be forfeited.
A credit card number is required for damage/security purposes. Blue Johanna Cottages is authorized to deduct monies to cover the cost of additional/excess cleaning, damages, repairs, replacement of goods, late departures or any other breaches of these terms and conditions. This includes leaving unwashed dishes & smoking inside.
Any Additional Fees will be charged to guests’ Credit Card facilities upon their departure.
Accommodation must be left in a clean and tidy manner removing all rubbish, bottles, food and personal items.
Food items such as bread, fruit, bones etc are not to be thrown out on the lawns/grounds surrounding the cottages for animals.
ALL ACCOMMODATION IS NON-SMOKING. A fee of up to $250 applies to smoking inside any accommodation. This charge covers the costs associated with removing cigarette smoke from soft furnishings, carpets, bedding etc.
If a Credit Card is not available then a Bond may be required as security. This can be paid by Cheque, Money Order or Bank Transfer prior to arrival.
We reserve the right to substitute accommodation units if necessary.
Blue Johanna Cottages will accept no responsibility for any inconvenience with machinery breakdown. Blue Johanna Cottages’ best endeavors to repair or replace will be undertaken.
DOG OWNERS PLEASE NOTE
Dog owners are fully responsible for the picking up droppings around the cottages and any damage caused to the property by their dog/s. Dogs are not permitted on any furniture unless fully covered with the sheet/s provided. More sheets can be provided upon request. Dogs are not to be left unattended inside at any time unless authorised by management. A vacuum cleaner can be supplied on request.
Additional charges apply for excessive dog hair, muddy dog footprints/marks on human bed linen & furniture, dog urine stains, damage to screen doors & picking up droppings on lawns.
We also have guests staying at Blue Johanna Cottages that do not have dogs. Please keep this in consideration at all times. This particularly applies to dogs barking and running around on other cottage and B&B verandah’s. This most importantly applies at night and early morning.
A $50 Cancellation/Administration Fee applies to ALL cancelled bookings.
STANDARD INDUSTRY CANCELLATION FEES APPLY TO ALL BOOKINGS
21-60 DAYS PRIOR TO BOOKING DATE - 50% OF DEPOSIT.
UP TO 21 DAYS PRIOR TO BOOKING DATE - 100% OF DEPOSIT.
WITHIN 7 DAYS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL AND THEREAFTER -100% OF TOTAL PRICE.
A CANCELLATION FEE OF 100% of TOTAL PRICE APPLIES 30 DAYS PRIOR TO CHRISTMAS/JANUARY & EASTER/APRIL SCHOOL HOLIDAYS AND TO PUBLIC HOLIDAY WEEKENDS.
These Fees will not apply if accommodation is re-booked to another party, however the $50 Cancellation Fee still applies.
Please note that Travel Insurance is recommended, particularly for Weekly bookings.
